Tests run on your device

Microphone audio, camera video, keystrokes, mouse and controller input, and screen measurements are processed only inside your browser tab. They are never uploaded, stored on a server, or sent to analytics.

Recordings and snapshots you make exist only in your browser's memory or download straight to your device. Closing the tab discards anything you didn't save.

Shared reports

When you share a report, its contents are encoded into the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to servers, so we never receive or store your report. Anyone you give the link to can read it.

What we store on your device

To remember your preferences, such as theme, chosen devices, keyboard layout, test volume and your CPS personal best, we save small values in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them in your browser settings at any time.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled on this site, we use Google Analytics 4 to count which tools are used and how often a test finishes, only after you agree. Events contain only a tool name and a result category (for example "mic" and "pass"). They never contain audio, video, keystrokes, device names or measurements.

Before you choose, analytics do not load at all. You can change your choice on the Cookie settings page.

Advertising

Ads are not currently shown. If we enable them later, an ad partner may use cookies to show and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we will ask for consent through a certified consent tool. We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of ad personalisation and data sharing.

Hosting logs

Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect against abuse. These logs never contain test data, because test data never reaches the server.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data from the tests, there is nothing tied to you for us to access or delete. For analytics or advertising data, you can withdraw consent at any time on the Cookie settings page, and contact us with any request.
