Stappen

  1. 1

    Use a low-latency mode

Many earbuds have a "game mode" or low-latency mode in their app. It trades some stability for less delay.

  2. 2

    Use a dedicated wireless dongle

Gaming headsets with their own USB receiver use a different, much faster connection than Bluetooth.

  3. 3

    Go wired for gaming

A wired connection has effectively no added delay.

  4. 4

    Adjust A/V sync for video

Many video players and TVs have an audio delay or lip-sync setting. Video apps on phones and computers usually compensate automatically.

  5. 5

    Keep it close and clear

Interference causes retransmissions and larger buffers. Stay close to the device and away from routers.

Werkt het nog steeds niet?

  • Using the headset's microphone at the same time switches it to a call mode that sounds worse and can change the delay.
