Stappen

  1. 1

    Check the cable and connector

Wiggle the plug while audio plays. If it crackles, replace the cable or clean the jack.

  2. 2

    Bluetooth: get closer

Walls, bodies, Wi-Fi routers and USB 3 ports interfere with Bluetooth. Keep the device close, with a clear line of sight.

  3. 3

    Match the sample rate

Windows: in More sound settings, open your device's Properties › Advanced and try 48000 Hz. Mac: in Audio MIDI Setup, set the format to match your app.

  4. 4

    Turn off audio enhancements

Enhancements and spatial sound effects can glitch with some drivers. Turn them off to compare.

  5. 5

    Reduce load

Heavy CPU load or power-saving modes can starve audio. Plug in the charger and close heavy apps.

  6. 6

    Update the audio driver

Get the latest driver from your computer or interface maker.

Werkt het nog steeds niet?

  • If crackling happens at specific loud bass notes, the speaker may be overdriven: lower the volume or bass boost.
