Speaking into the top of a side-address mic sounds distant and thin.
Wrong pattern
Omni or bidirectional patterns pick up the whole room. Cardioid suits most single voices.
Mute light flashing
A flashing red light means muted. Press the button on the front.
Tips
- Lower gain and get closer for less room echo.
