Passaggi
- 1
Power off and disconnect
Unplug the keyboard or shut down the laptop. Remove batteries from wireless keyboards.
- 2
Tip out loose debris
Turn the keyboard upside down and tap gently.
- 3
Use compressed air
Short bursts at an angle. Hold the can upright so no liquid propellant comes out.
- 4
Wipe the keycaps
Use a cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Never pour or spray liquid onto the keyboard.
- 5
Mechanical keyboards: remove keycaps
Use a keycap puller. Photograph the layout first. Wash keycaps in warm soapy water and let them dry completely.
- 6
Laptops: leave the keycaps on
Laptop keycaps and their clips are fragile and easy to break. Clean around them instead.
