Pair your Buds, then play the left and right sounds. If one bud is silent, clean the mesh and re-pair before assuming a fault.

Put both buds in the case, close it, then reconnect. Clean the mesh gently.
Delay
Measure Bluetooth latency with the tap test. A game mode in the Wearable app may reduce it.
