Calibration offset
A steady offset at rest usually means calibration, not wear. Recalibrate with the maker's method.
Magnet interference
Magnets or phones close to the controller can shift readings. Test away from them.

- Very small deadzones show tiny jitter at rest; that's expected and games filter it.
